Premium mall at Canberra Outlet

Canberra Outlet Centre has announced the development of a new premium mall. Offering an “elevated shopping experience”, the new component of Canberra Outlet Centre in Fyshwick will see the arrival of high-end brands such as Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein, who will be opening flagship stores as part of stage one of the project. “The addition of these international brands will see a new calibre of premium shopping currently not available in the ACT, offering international visitors the opportunity to shop luxury high-end brands they’re accustomed to in other national cities in Australia,” says Graham Terry, Managing Director of RetPro, who has managed the centre since 2013. The premium mall is expected to feature high-end finishes such as architecturally designed floor and ceiling treatments to really up the level of luxe for shoppers.

Free fitness in Moncrieff

Moncrieff residents are now able to access a free fitness program, through a partnership with the ACT Government and Live Life Get Active. The Live Life Get Active program will include yoga, cross training and boxing, with classes to run each week as part of a year-long program. Endota spa for mums and bubs

Endota Spa has launched a new range of skin and bath products, tailored towards babies and new parents. The Nurture range includes a gentle bath and body wash, gentle lotion and calming sleep mist for babies, and nipple balm and belly butter for new mothers. The range was developed alongside Dr Hayley Dickinson BSc (Hons), PhD, an Australian research scientist with expertise in the areas of reproductive physiology, pregnancy and perinatal health.

Women in Vogue

The National Portrait Gallery (NPG) has announced an exhibition in collaboration with fashion magazine Vogue, with Women in Vogue: Celebrating 60 Years in Australia set to celebrate Australia’s “most exceptional women” as they appeared in Vogue Australia. NPG Director Karen Quinlan said the exhibition, in October, will reveal stunning images of some of the nation’s “leading cultural exports”, and will have rare examples of archived magazines on show. “Here at the home of portraiture, this collaboration will present images of the vibrant, evolving identity of Australian women,” she said.

‘Women in Vogue: Celebrating 60 Years in Australia’ will be on at the National Portrait Gallery on 11-24 October. Tickets are now on sale via portrait.gov.au
