Queanbeyan has 93 new COVID cases out of 355 in Southern NSW

The Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) has recorded 355 COVID cases with 93 of those in Queanbeyan as hospitalisations rise.

It is slightly higher than yesterday’s 322 COVID cases in Southern NSW.

The number of people in hospital with the virus has risen from four to nine with two people in the ICU. 76 people are under active care, up from 61 yesterday.

There are now 2,019 active COVID cases in the SNSWLHD with the total number of infections up to 2,815 since the start of the outbreak in June.

The Queanbeyan Palerang LGA recorded 93 new COVID-19 cases.

Goulburn Mulwaree LGA recorded 91 new cases.

Bega Valley LGA has 58 new infections.

Yass Valley LGA reported 49 COVID-19 cases.

Snowy Monaro LGA has 24 new COVID infections.

Upper Lachlan reported 21 new cases.

Eurobodalla LGA has 19 new cases.

The news comes as NSW recorded 38,625 total COVID-19 cases along with eleven virus-related deaths.
