Queanbeyan records 46 COVID-19 cases, 124 in Southern NSW

Queanbeyan has recorded 46 COVID-19 cases overnight as the Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) reported 124 infections.

It is a drop of 106 after yesterday’s 230 cases in the SNSWLHD.

Despite the rise in cases, the number of people in hospital has remained at just two, while 99 people are under active care.

There are now 1,118 active COVID cases in the SNSWLHD with the total number of infections up to 1,793 since the start of the outbreak in June.

The Queanbeyan Palerang LGA recorded 46 new COVID-19 cases.

Goulburn Mulwaree LGA recorded 27 new cases.

Yass Valley LGA reported 16 COVID-19 cases.

Snowy Monaro LGA has 9 new COVID infections.

Eurobodalla LGA has 8 new cases.

Upper Lachlan reported 7 new cases.

The news comes as NSW recorded 23,131 COVID-19 total cases and the ACT hit a new high of 926 infections.
