Queanbeyan records four new coronavirus cases

Queanbeyan has recorded four new coronavirus cases overnight, with all of them still under investigation.

Two of the cases are in Karabar, one is in Queanbeyan West and the other is in Jerrabomberra.

The four infections in Queanbeyan-Palerang are the only new COVID-19 cases in the Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) today.

This brings the total number of cases in the SNSWLHD to 495 since the start of the outbreak in June.

The areas within the SNSWLHD that have cases under ‘virtual care’ are Queanbeyan-Palerang (41), Goulburn (1), Eurobodalla (2), Yass Valley (5) and Bega Valley (4).

In some good news, there are now zero people in hospital with the virus in the SNSWLHD.
