The Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) has recorded six new COVID-19 cases overnight, with all of them in the Queanbeyan region.
All of the new cases in Queanbeyan-Palerang are still under investigation. Three of the cases are in Queanbeyan, two are in Karabar and one is in Googong.
The areas within the SNSWLHD that have cases under ‘virtual care’ are Queanbeyan-Palerang (20), Goulburn (4), Eurobodalla (2), Yass (4), Bega Valley (4), Upper Lachlan (1) and the Snowy Monaro region (15).
The new case in the Upper Lachlan was originally assigned to the ACT but has since been reallocated to Gunning.
“Virtual care” means caring for patients using technology, while they stay at their own homes.
There are two people in hospital with the virus.
