The Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) has recorded five new COVID cases overnight, with three in the Queanbeyan-Palerang LGA.
Two of those cases are in Googong and the other is in Jerrabomberra. They are all linked to known cases.
There is one case in the Snowy Monaro LGA (Binjura) which is linked to a known case.
There is also one new case in the Eurobodalla region (Tuross Head) which is also linked.
This brings the total number of cases in the SNSWLHD to 579 since the start of the outbreak in June.
The areas within the SNSWLHD that have cases under ‘virtual care’ are Queanbeyan-Palerang (26), Snowy Monaro (9), Goulburn (1), Yass Valley (1) and Eurobodalla (2).
There is currently one person in hospital with the virus.
