The Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) has recorded three new COVID-19 cases, with two in the Queanbeyan Palerang LGA.
The two new infections are the first cases in Queanbeyan since Monday 27 November. One of the cases is in Googong and the other is in Jerrabomberra, both are linked to known cases.
The Snow Monaro Region also recorded one new case in Jindabyne which is linked to a known case.
This brings the total number of cases in the SNSWLHD to 593 since the start of the outbreak in June.
The areas within the SNSWLHD that have cases under ‘virtual care’ are Queanbeyan Palerang (12), Snowy Monaro (16), and Eurobodalla (2).
There are currently two people in hospital with the virus.
