Queanbeyan records two new COVID infections

The Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) has recorded two COVID cases, both of which are in Queanbeyan.

One of the cases in in Karabar the other is in Jerrabomberra. They are both still under investigation.

This brings the total number of cases in the SNSWLHD to 497 since the start of the outbreak in June.

The areas within the SNSWLHD that have cases under โ€˜virtual careโ€™ are Queanbeyan-Palerang (43), Eurobodalla (2), Yass Valley (5) and Bega Valley (3).

There are zero people in hospital with the virus in the SNSWLHD.
