The Questacon carpark, Parkes Place West and Mall Road west are all reopened after a structure fire at Questacon earlier today.

The fire was believed to have started by an electrical fault and caused minor damage to the building.

Questacon was forced to close early, with over 1000 staff and visitors evacuating the building. Nobody is believed to be injured.

The centre will be closed tomorrow, 9 October.
