Raiders replace Croker as Sharks shift Hynes to fullback

The Canberra Raiders have made just the one change to their side to take on the Cronulla Sharks during Magic Round at Suncorp Stadium on Sunday.

Jarrod Croker is out of the side after picking up a shoulder injury that will sideline him for 2-3 weeks, with Seb Kris coming into the starting centre spot and Xavier Savage onto the bench.

Matt Frawley will once again start at five-eighth after starring in the club’s 14-4 win over the Bulldogs last week, with Brad Schneider to remain as halfback.

The Sharks are fresh off a gutsy 29-10 victory over the Warriors last week, where they overcame a first half send off and a second half sin bin to claim the miraculous win.

They are without suspended duo William Kennedy and Jesse Ramien, causing some changes to their backline.

Nicho Hynes has been shifted from halfback to fullback to cover Kennedy, with Braydon Trindall to line up in the 7 jersey.

Connor Tracey has been named in the centres to replace Ramien, while Ronaldo Mulitalo returns on the wing.

Royce Hunt comes onto the bench for Andrew Fifita who drops to the reserves.

The sides have already met this season, with the Raiders claiming a thrilling 23-19 victory in a tense opening round encounter.
