Rapana returns for Raiders, Panthers name Cleary replacement

Jordan Rapana will return for the Raiders important clash against the Panthers at GIO Stadium on Saturday evening.

Rapana replaces Albert Hopoate on the wing in the only change from the club’s 36-24 victory over the Titans last week.

The Raiders head into the match in ninth place on the ladder having won three games in a row against the Storm, Warriors and Gold Coast.

Meanwhile, the Panthers will be without superstar halfback Nathan Cleary after he copped a five-match suspension for a dangerous tackle on Parramatta’s Dylan Brown last weekend.

Despite Cleary being an integral member of the Panthers’ set up, the club is still 5-0 without him this season and have a host of other stars that can step up in his absence.

With Jarome Luai also missing, Jaeman Salmon and Sean O’Sullivan have been named as the Penrith halves, while Kurt Falls is on the extended bench.

In some good news for the Panthers, Stephen Crichton returns at centre after returning from a nasty head knock.
