Series of Christmas morning burglaries being investigated

ACT Policing detectives from Criminal Investigations are seeking witnesses and information regarding a series of aggravated burglaries and attempted burglaries that occurred on Christmas morning.

Police believe the same group of teenagers or young men were involved in burglaries and attempted burglaries in Curtin, Isaacs, Fadden and Macarthur between 2.00am and 5.00am on Christmas morning.

All the incidents involved between four and eight participants and in some instances residents were threatened at knifepoint.

A gold Subaru Outback station wagon was stolen from one home as well as Christmas presents. The vehicle was then used to travel to other addresses to commit further offences.

Police are seeking any witnesses, dash-cam footage or any other information about these incidents.
