Serious multi-vehicle crash on Monaro Highway south of Canberra

Emergency Services are at the scene of a serious motor vehicle crash on the Monaro Highway at Michelago, south of Canberra, involving multiple vehicles and a truck.

NSW Ambulance were called to the crash near Baroona Rd at 10am today, Thursday 11 January after a truck reportedly hit a number of stationary cars at a roadworks site before rolling on its side.

Two people involved in the crash have been taken to Canberra Hospital.

The Monaro Highway is currently closed in both directions between Michelago and Bredbo and is expected to be closed for sometime.

Motorists are being told to delay their journey or to use a different route.
