Police and WIRES officers found five adult kangaroos and one joey dead on Blairs Road and Sandy Place.
A short time later, police were notified a further seven kangaroos and one joey had been found dead in the Maloneys Beach area.
They also found an injured joey which was taken into the care of WIRES.
Following a public appeal for information officers arrested two 17-year-old boys at Bateman’s Bay Police Station on Monday.
The pair were issued with a court attendance notice for recklessly beating and killing animals.
