Southern NSW records eight new COVID-19 cases

The Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) has recorded eight new cases of COVID-19 to 8pm last night, including two in Jerrabomberra.

The total number of cases in the SNSWLHD now sits at 62 since the start of the current outbreak in June.

The two cases in Jerrabomberra are close contacts of existing cases.

Batemans Bay recorded four new cases of the virus and are all linked to previously known cases in the area.

There is one fresh case in Goulburn which is still under investigation.

Narooma recorded a single case which has been linked to the Batemans Bay outbreak.

The community of Eden is also being asked to come forward for testing with mild symptoms after fragments of the virus were detected in the sewage system.
