Southern NSW records six new COVID-19 cases

The Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) has recorded six new COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.

Queanbeyan has just one new case which is still under investigation.

There are two new cases in the Snowy Monaro area with one linked. One is in Jindabyne and the other is in Crackenback.

Goulburn recorded one new case and it remains under investigation.

The Bega Valley recorded one fresh infection which is still under investigation. The case is in Bega.

Batemans Bay recorded one new case which is under investigation.

There have now been 379 total cases in the SNSWLHD since the start of the outbreak in June.

The areas within the SNSWLHD that have active cases are Queanbeyan-Palerang (131), Goulburn (57), Eurobodalla (23), Yass (1), Bega Valley (8) and the Snowy Monaro region (72).

There remains four people in hospital with the virus.
