Canberrans well know the bogong moth (after all, we’re a pit-stop on their migration journey) but there are a few thousand other moth species that most of us couldn’t name – except Order of Australia Medal recipient, Dr Marianne Horak AO.
More than 30 ACT residents, around half of whom are women, have been recognised in the King’s Birthday honours list in the Order of Australia awards, and over 30 more in the meritorious awards.
