Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has announced further restrictions for Melbourne businesses and estimated another 250,000 Victorians will lose their jobs as the state struggles to reduce community movement and get the virus under control.
ACT Health has confirmed three new cases of COVID-19 in the ACT overnight (7-8 July), all from the same household and linked to the outbreaks in Victoria.
Travellers coming into the ACT from Melbourne’s COVID-19 hotspots will be required to quarantine for 14 days, under a new Health Direction announced today.
ACT Health is advising anyone who works in high-risk settings and has travelled to a COVID-19 hotspot in Melbourne to not attend work for a period of 14 days after leaving the hotspot.
