The Southern NSW Local Health district has recorded four new COVID-19 cases to 8pm last night with two in Queanbeyan, one in Batemans Bay and one in Yass.
Citizenship ceremonies have been run virtually for the first time as Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council welcomed new Australians this week during the stay-at-home orders in their NSW Local Government Area.
Queanbeyan-Palerang and Goulburn Mulwaree are among 38 NSW Local Government Areas where lockdown has been extended, while “low risk” parts of regional NSW will emerge from lockdown at 12:01am Saturday 11 September.
