A 25-year-old unlicensed Gilmore man has been charged with multiple offences following him being detected drink driving twice within hours this morning.
ACT Policing is urging motorists to drive safely this June long weekend with double demerits in place in the ACT and NSW over the next four days, starting midnight tonight.
ACT P-platers who drive safely will be offered a discount on the P2 stage of their driver's licence, in a bid to improve road safety for newer drivers.
Seven drivers will be issued fines totalling more than $4,700 and incur 25 demerit points following an early morning speed enforcement operation on Friday 28 May.
