A body has been found by NSW police searching for two men reported missing in floodwaters at Bevendale on the NSW Southern Tablelands, 100km north of Canberra.
More residents have been ordered to evacuate houses and caravan parks after forecasters predicted historic flooding for parts of NSW, including the South Coast, due to the severe weather.
A storm cell moved through the ACT earlier this afternoon, impacting the Tuggeranong, Weston Creek and Belconnen regions, causing minor flooding, leaking roofs and downed trees.
