A 33-year-old Braddon woman will face court today, Friday 9 June, after she was allegedly caught stealing thousands of dollars’ worth of handbags and cosmetics in Canberra City yesterday.
Nine shoppers have been banned and multiple charges laid as a result of an ACT Policing operation to target anti-social behaviour and retail theft at major shopping centres.
A 33-year-old Weston woman was arrested by ACT Policing’s Woden Station officers yesterday, Wednesday 6 April, after an investigation into several shoplifting incidents at a Mawson supermarket.Â
ACT Policing’s Gungahlin Station officers have arrested a 54-year-old Macquarie woman and a 44-year-old Watson man following numerous shoplifting incidents where they allegedly stole goods totaling more than $7,700. Â
