About 11.05pm yesterday, ACT Policing attempted to stop a white Holden Commodore in Kaleen.

The driver failed to stop for police and continued on Baldwin Drive where road spikes were successfully deployed.

The car continued north along Gungahlin Drive attempting to evade police before coming to a stop at the intersection of Narden Street and Digby Circuit in Crace.

The driver fled on foot before being apprehended and taken into custody a short time later in Giralang.

The teenager was charged with numerous offences including aggravated dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, driving while disqualified, driving under the influence of drugs and driving with numberplates not properly issued.
