The Southern NSW Local Health District has recorded ten new COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours to 8pm last night with eight in Queanbeyan.

All eight cases in the Queanbeyan-Palerang region are under investigation. There is one in Queanbeyan West, four in Googong and three are in Crestwood.

Yass Valley recorded two new coronavirus cases which are under investigation.

The total number of cases in the SNSWLHD since the outbreak is now 477.

The areas within the SNSWLHD that have cases under ‘virtual care’ are Queanbeyan-Palerang (53), Goulburn (1), Eurobodalla (1), Yass Valley (3) and Bega Valley (1).

There are two people in hospital with the virus.
