Third person to face court after Spence shooting

A 22-year-old man was arrested yesterday, Wednesday 31 March, as part of an ongoing investigation into a shooting at a Spence residence earlier in March.

The investigation began after a man presented at Calvary Hospital with serious gunshot wounds in the early hours of Thursday 11 March. A search warrant executed later that day located several items of evidence, including shell casings.

About 5.20pm yesterday, the 22-year-old was arrested in relation to his involvement in the offence.

The man will face the ACT Magistrates Court today on one count of aggravated burglary.

A 36-year-old woman faced the ACT Magistrates Court yesterday on one count of perverting the course of justice and concealing evidence.

The two arrests come after a 22-year old man faced the ACT Magistrates Court on two counts of discharging a firearm endangering life and one charge of intentionally inflicting grievous bodily harm.
