The Bureau of Meteorology is predicting thunderstorms will continue across the region tomorrow, Thursday 8 October, becoming severe with gusty winds and possible large hail.
The thunderstorms are predicted most likely in a line west of the Great Diving Range before midday, progressing eastward later across a wide area including Canberra and Sydney.
Despite a rainy day in the National Capital, the BoM is reporting 3.4mm of rain has fallen at Canberra Airport since 9am today and 5.6mm in Tuggeranong.
The BoM recommends checking bom.gov.au/act/warnings for latest weather warnings.
