Toby Greene and Isaac Heeney bringing footy clinic to Canberra

AFL superstars Toby Greene and Isaac Heeney are offering Canberra kids an opportunity to learn some tips and tricks through 5th Quarter Camps.

The duo will be in town for the inaugural Canberra event at the Ainslie Football Club on Thursday 18 January, alongside Canberra native Tom Green and AFLW star Chloe Molloy

5th Quarter Camps teaches the basics of footy in a fun and interactive way, incorporating skills, drills, and games. It caters to kids of all abilities and skill levels between the ages of 6 – 16 years old, especially those aspiring to elevate their footy skills.

The camp runs from 9am to 1pm, kicking off with player and coach introductions before diving into
the day’s on-field activities with a skills and drills session. While parents are encouraged to stay and
spectate, there’s no need to worry about supervision, as qualified AFL NSW coaches will be on-site.

The day wraps up with some exciting match play, a Q&A session with the players, and, finally, the
presentation of the ‘5th Quarter Kit’, with each child receiving their own t-shirt and other product as a memento of the day.

Founded by Giants skipper Greene and Swans’ star Heeney, 5th Quarter Camps was born out of their shared passion for teaching Aussie Rules to the next generation, with a vision of growing the game in the NSW/ACT market.

“We always had the vision to expand 5th Quarter Camps to more locations across Australia,
especially into areas where footy is growing in popularity. After such a great reception at our Sydney
clinics, we are thrilled to be able to head across the border and see the talent on offer with the kids in the ACT,” said Greene.

The Canberra camp announcement comes on the back of a successful launch in October last year,
where more than 200 kids participated in the inaugural Sydney two-day program at GIANTS Stadium.
