Track dinosaurs at Westfield Belconnen these holidays

Put on the khakis and helmets, jump in the Jeep, and head on down to Westfield Belconnen for a dino-mite adventure during the upcoming school holidays. You won’t need to chisel fossils or hope to get lucky with a piece of amber to see dinosaurs up close and personal when five animatronic dinosaurs escape into the shopping centre.

The word is from that 26 September to 9 October, the clever dinos have come up with a plan to ditch their enclosures and run amok. Westfield Belconnen is calling on the bravest, smartest palaeontologists and adventurers to help track down the wild dinosaurs. They need help securing the creatures so they can send in a team of experts to safely capture them.

Think you have what it takes to track down the prehistoric creatures? Grab a tracker from trail headquarters located near Target on level 3, any day between 10am and 4pm. From there, be sure to read the clues, follow the loud roars and enormous footprints to each dinosaur, ticking them off as you go. Race back and report your findings to mission control by replacing your tracker at its station.

As a thank you for all your hard work tracking the beasts, those who manage to discover the hiding places of all five dinosaurs will go in the running for some great prizes. Be in with a chance to see more dinosaurs safely enclosed at the National Dinosaur Museum, with 16 family passes up for grabs. Westfield Plus members can also redeem a bonus gift for completing the track.

Find the creatures on the Jurassic World Dominion: Dinosaur Discovery Trail at Westfield Belconnen, from 26 September to 9 October; westfield.com.au
