The Southern NSW Health District has announced a number of new COVID-19 cases in the region to 8pm last night.

There are two new cases in Queanbeyan and one in Googong which are all believed to be linked to the current outbreak in the ACT.

Yass and Goulburn also recorded another two cases each while Batemans Bay and Catalina have one new case each. These are all close contacts of previously known cases.

The Deputy Premier of NSW John Barilaro said contact tracing is underway for all cases and he will provide updates on any venues of concern as more information comes to hand.
