Wanniassa warrant reveals stolen goods and prohibited weapons

 A 34-year-old man will be summonsed to the ACT Magistrates Court after officers located stolen goods and prohibited weapons in his Wanniassa home.  

On Saturday 24 June, ACT Policing executed a search warrant after investigating a theft that occurred earlier this month.  

About 2.10pm officers located a number of items including a stolen PlayStation 5, a gold extendable baton and a handheld conducted energy weapon.

ACT Policing are still working to identify whether any other individuals are involved in the theft.  

Police urge anyone who may have information that may help in the investigation to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote reference 7465778. Information can be provided anonymously.
