Weddings of Canberra – The Wedding That Canberra Built

On Friday 20 May at 8am, The Wedding That Canberra Built finally happened and Val and Alex, our very deserving couple, were married. Weddings of Canberra was so proud to be able to make this wedding happen, in conjunction with Kristen and Nige from 106.3.

It was the culmination of a major radio promotion where over 80 couples registered to go in the draw to be the lucky couple who would win their wedding, thanks to Weddings of Canberra and Mix106.3. With Kristen Davidson conducting her very first wedding as a Celebrant, live on air!

Val and Alex didn’t have to worry about a thing with all of the decisions made for them by the 106.3 listeners and all of the vendors provided by Weddings of Canberra.

Listeners voted on the dress, the suit, the rings, the cake, the flowers, the cars, and the music.

It was a perfect Canberra morning by the lake at The Boathouse Restaurant and everything went off perfectly. In a heartfelt ceremony, Kristen married Val and Alex live on air. A very unique ceremony, complete with ad breaks, songs and news bulletins. Certainly not for everyone but well and truly fitting with the Weddings of Canberra theme of “weddings for allsorts”.

It wouldn’t have been possible without a whole bunch of fabulous vendors that gave their time, their products, their services, their expertise, and their energy to this fabulous wedding.

A huge thanks to the following vendors:

The Boathouse, A Shot Above the Rest Photography, Harlequin Jewellers, Affordable Bridal, Black Tie By Xavier, Infinite Hairstyling, La Bella Fay Beauty & Bridal, Happy Days Party Hire, Mugshots Photobooths, Attnd Live Streaming, Ryan David, BoomBox2U, Canberra Hummer, A1 Classic Car Rental, La Ombre Cakes, Lilly of The Valley Florist, Edible Favours, and Guest of Honour Pet Chaperones.

And these are only some of the wonderful Canberra wedding vendors that you’ll find on Weddings of Canberra. Check out every one of the wonderful Canberra based wedding vendors at www.weddingsofcanberra.com.au
