What’s on around Canberra in April 2024

Hello April, the month when Canberra turns chilly and the fallen leaves crunch underfoot along the pathways.

Kicking off with the Easter long weekend, catch the final day of the National Folk Festival. Later in the month locals and visitors are encouraged to soak up local histories in the Canberra and Region Heritage Festival.

There is an abundance of excellent live entertainment heading to town this month, highlights include: Potted Potter at Canberra Theatre Centre; Billy Elliot the Musical at The Q – Queanbeyan Performing Arts Centre; Seagull at ACT Hub; and Taxiride at Tallagandra Hill Winery.
