What’s on around Canberra in May 2023

May is [almost] here and we are one step closer to another Canberra winter.

This month, the Capital Region offers a plethora of activities to keep you entertained day, night and in all weather.

The Canberra International Music Festival and Australian Dance Week keep the region alive with song and dance at the start of the month, while fantastic local productions and visiting entertainment ensure there is always something to check out.


Canberra International Music Festival: Travel the world without leaving the capital at musical performances at various locations, until 7 May; cimf.org.au

SteamPunk@Altitude: The Victorian Steam Era, the Wild West, and the fantastical style of Punk come together in the Monaro village of Nimmitabel with a time that never was.
