What’s on around Canberra this weekend 6-8 January

This weekend, 6-8 January, is the first full one of 2023. CW has compiled a list of things to ease you into the new year.

Car lovers rejoice! Summernats has returned, bringing with it the non-ticketed Fringe Fest which takes over Braddon on Friday and Saturday evenings.

If you are after something quieter to start the new year, check out one of the beautiful exhibitions on around the Capital including Cressida Campbell at the National Gallery of Australia or Feared and Revered at the National Museum of Australia.

Summernats: The annual street machine festival returns to Exhibition Park in Canberra with displays, burnouts, live music and more, 5-8 January; summernats.com.au

Cressida Campbell: The artistโ€™s largest exhibition features more than 140 of her works, spanning her entire career, National Gallery of Australia, until 19 February.
