Another rainy one is on the cards around Canberra this weekend, 7-9 October.
CW has compiled a list of things to keep you entertained both indoors and outside during any intermittent dry spells. Unfortunately, the Googong Rural Fire Service open day on Saturday has been cancelled due to the forecast inclement weather.
In happier news, after more than two years of not being able to stage a show due to pandemic restrictions, Dramatic Productions presents Canberra’s first local production of School of Rock the Musical, which opens at Gungahlin Theatre on Friday night. Another great local show is Everyman Theatre’s production of the poignant, coming-of-age dramedy, Beautiful Thing, at ACT Hub, Kingston, until 15 October.
This weekend is your last chance to catch a number of incredible exhibitions. These include Connection at the National Museum of Australia and the National Portrait Prize entrants at the National Portrait Gallery, the perfect wet weather activity.
