2024 is a Leap Year, which means we have 24 extra hours this year! How are you going to spend Leap Day on Thursday 29 February? Maybe, you’ll use it to rest, do nothing, have some quality time with loved ones, or some ‘me time’. And while many of us will be working and/or studying, as per usual, we’ve pulled together some ideas for what you can do if you have a spare moment and want to hit the town.

Bring It On: The Musical
Opening night ofCanberra Philharmonic Society’s (aka Philo) upcoming production is on Thursday 29 February 8pm at Erindale College Theatre. Rival high schools battle it out at the national cheerleading championships in this musical loosely based on the 2000 film of the same name and featuring music by Tom Kitt and Lin-Manuel Miranda. The season continues to 16 March.

Deborah Conway and Willy Zygier invite you on a wonderful musical journey through their four decades of music-making in Songs from the Book of Life, at Canberra Theatre Centre, 29 February 8pm.
