Friday 25 February

Ruthless at The Q

The all-female camp ‘killer’ cult classic musical, Ruthless tells the story of the beautiful and talented 8-year-old Tina Denmark who will do anything to play the lead in her school play.

Ruthless is on at The Q, Queanbeyan, until 12 March; theq.net.au

The 95th Royal Canberra Show

In 2022, the Royal Canberra Show is back at EPIC for it’s 95th iteration, running 25-27 February. Explore the animal and showbag pavilions, watch the competitions and attractions in the main arena and around the grounds, venture into sideshow alley, and chow down on proper festival food like we haven’t been able to in years.

Gates will be open from 8.30am to 10pm Friday and Saturday, closing at 6pm on Sunday; click here for more.

Omar Musa at The Street

Join the local poet, author and rapper as he brings to life poems from his acclaimed book Killernova before he embarks on a European book tour later in the year.

Musa will be testing out new work in an intimate setting at The Street, City West, 25 February 7.30pm; thestreet.org.au

In Their Footsteps at The Courtyard Studio

A play based on the true accounts of five women who served in Vietnam, exploring their experiences working in war zones, their struggles to be recognised heroes, their loss of faith and the friendships they forged in the face of trauma.

Summersalt at Stage 88

Queanbeyan Multicultural Festival

Eat your way around the world, dance to a new beat, and have a super day out at the Queanbeyan Multicultural Festival. The festival is about colour, movement, food, love and learning the many amazing cultures that make up our community. This year’s event will include international performers, market stalls, sporting demonstrations, more craft activities for the kids, and even more food.
