Hands Like Houses
Born and bred in Canberra, Hands Like Houses are a rock phenomenon offering an exclusive experience for people to go behind the scenes during a live performance as it’s streamed across the globe. The evening will also feature local businesses Megalo Studios, Capital Brewing, Grease Monkey, Mallaluka Wines and more.
Songs from a Stolen Senate
A ground-breaking production, Songs from a Stolen Senate feature some of Australia’s leading First Nation musicians, weaving together personal reflections of Australia’s political landscape through music written for the acclaimed Griffyn Ensemble.
Rockspeare Richard III
Canberra’s reigning sovereign of the theatrical realm Lakespeare are bringing you Rockspeare: Richard III. Streamed by Live In Ya Lounge, this ultimate classic will be electrified and rejuvenated through movement and music! Experience the creative process through interviews during the intermission and Q&A.
Satellite Selfie
Be part of a modern community event – from space! Get ready to pose as we create a big picture of Canberra. Mount Stromlo Observatory has scheduled 3 satellite flyovers of the ACT during the week of Monday August 17 – Friday August 21 to produce one of the world’s biggest selfies!
