Celebrating the finest filmmakers and acting talent the British Isles has to offer, The British Film Festival features some of the most anticipated films of the year – from powerful true stories and romantic dramas to documentaries and thrillers. The Festival opens with the highly anticipated The Duke starring Helen Mirren and Jim Broadbent and also includes, ‘7 From The 70s’ a sublime selection of the best British films from the 1970s. The British Film Festival will take place nationally from 3 November in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, and Byron Bay. In Melbourne, the Festival opens on 5 November, when cinemas are allowed to re-open.
