With the support of other benefactors, Canberra couple Richard Rolfe AM and Debbie Rolfe AM recently hosted a 90th birthday celebration at the Australian War Memorial for Keith Payne VC AM, the last living Australian recipient of the original Imperial Victoria Cross.
Guests at the celebration received two commemorative coins: a 2015 $5 Australian Bravery gold-plated fine silver frosted uncirculated coin; and a 2018 $5 Land Sea Air coloured fine silver proof triangular coin acknowledging the three services of the Australian Defence Force – the Australian Army, the Royal Australian Navy and the Royal Australian Air Force.
