The National Wine Experience on Saturday, June 1 is Australia’s ultimate wine-tasting event, where only wines judged the very best in Australia make it to the tasting table.
Canberra wine enthusiasts will have the rare opportunity to sample more than 900 award-winning wines at Canberra’s famous EPIC showgrounds, including the just-announced winners of the 2024 National Wine Show of Australia awards.
Just 250 tickets to the National Wine Show’s three-hour National Wine Experience tasting, run by the Royal National Capital Agricultural Society, are available.
“People will have access to the entire range of wines entered in the National Wine Show, including the winners of the Len Evans Memorial White Wine of Show, the James Halliday Red Wine of Show and the ultimate prize, the 2024 Prime Minister’s Trophy,” RNCAS chief executive officer Adelina La Vita said.
“It’s an incredibly rare opportunity to experience the pinnacle of Australian winemaking. More than 5,000 bottles of wine will be opened for tasting, offering an unparalleled journey through Australia’s diverse wine regions – including some of the very best wines from the Canberra Region.”
The National Wine Show of Australia, held annually in Canberra, has been turning local wine labels into international icons since 1975. It’s where the best of the best Australian wines battle it out to win the most prestigious wine prize in Australia – the Prime Minister’s Trophy.
