Witnesses sought after teenagers assault disabled man in City

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an assault in the City on Tuesday, 7 December.

About 3pm, a 35-year-old disabled man was approached by 4-6 teenagers or young men in Garema Place, Canberra City. An altercation followed, with the 35-year-old being assaulted.

Anyone who witnessed the assault who has not yet spoken to police is urged to come forward, in an effort to identify the offenders.

Additionally, police are seeking any footage captured by passers-by, who were in the general vicinity of Garema Place and Northbourne Avenue between 3pm and 3.30pm on 7 December 2021.
