Witnesses sought after woman injured in Curtin assault

ACT Policing is seeking dash-cam footage and witnesses to an alleged assault in McCulloch Street, Curtin on Sunday morning, 11 December.

About 10.50am police received two Triple Zero (000) calls reporting an altercation between a man and a woman that had escalated to the point where the woman was injured, and in need of assistance at the intersection of McCulloch and Dunstan Streets.

Police have spoken to several witnesses, but believe several cars were driven along McCulloch Street between 10.30 and 11am, and that drivers or passengers may be able to provide information, or dash-cam footage, to help provide a fuller picture of what occurred.

The people involved in the incident have been identified and are assisting police with enquiries.

Anyone with any information that could assist police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Please quote reference 7294268.
