Witnesses sought to Mitchell road rage incident

ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an alleged serious road rage incident that occurred on Saturday evening in Mitchell.

About 6.05pm on Saturday 19 August, a red Audi S3 and a green Holden Cruze were driving south on Flemington Road towards Mitchell. The cars interacted in sections were there were two lanes and also in the single lane section.

Both vehicles stopped at the intersection of Flemington Road and Sanford Street, Mitchell and the occupants of the Holden Cruze allegedly got out of their vehicle and assaulted the driver of the red Audi.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed (or has dash-cam footage of) the lead up to or the alleged assault at the intersection.
