Witnesses sought to October Pialligo Avenue collision

AFP Airport Uniform Policing is seeking witnesses to an October collision that occurred near Canberra Airport that resulted in a man being transported to hospital with injuries.  

About 10.40am on Friday 13 October, a black Toyota Camry sedan and a white Hyundai Kona SUV collided at the intersection of Pialligo Avenue and Scherger Drive, Majura.  

The driver of the Kona had to be cut out of his vehicle by ACT Fire & Rescue. He was subsequently transported to hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.  

To assist in the investigation into this incident police are asking anyone who witnessed the collision (who has not already spoken to police) and anyone who may have dash-cam footage of the collision to come forward.  

While investigators have spoken to some witnesses, other drivers would have witnessed the collision and may be able to assist police.
