Food for thought: Batlow cider festival

Batlow Cider Festival

The annual Batlow Cider Festival is on again on Saturday 18 May in the NSW town of Batlow, a 2.5 hour drive from Canberra. Attracting thousands of visitors each year, the festival showcases Batlow’s autumn weather with a host of food, drinks and fun – and apple cider, of course! – with an all-day street party. The day before the festival there will be a “Back to Nature” conference and the chance to “taste and learn” about the world of craft ciders. On Sunday, you’re invited to join the cider makers on cidery and orchard visits and try your hand at dowsing.

The Batlow Cider Festival is on Saturday 18 May in Batlow, NSW. For tickets and more information, visit batlowciderfest.com.au
