Young man dies in single-vehicle crash in Curtin

A 26-year-old man has passed away following a single-vehicle crash in Curtin early this morning.

Around 1:35am on Sunday 10 November, police arrived to find a Toyota Hilux that had veered off the road at the Yarra Glen roundabout, crashing into a tree.

Emergency responders provided immediate care at the scene before the man was taken to Canberra Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly afterward.

The ACT Road Policing Major Collision Team is currently investigating the incident, and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.

It is the ninth death on ACT roads this year.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the accident or has dash cam footage to contact Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000 or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website, referencing case number P2299238.
