BOM issues severe weather warning for the ACT

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe weather warning for people in the ACT, Snowy Mountains, Northern Tablelands and parts of Northern Rivers, Mid North Coast, South Coast, Southern Tablelands and South West Slopes Forecast Districts.

If safe to do so, the ACT State Emergency Service advises that you:

  • Move your car under cover and away from trees
  • Stay indoors and put off unnecessary travel
  • Never drive, walk or ride through floodwater

If you need support during storms and floods call the ACT State Emergency Service on 132 500. In a life-threatening emergency call Triple Zero (000).
