The Housemate by Sarah Bailey

Beaton has produced an awesome and epic debut novel in The Councillor. Expertly blending political intrigue with a great fantasy universe, this is a wonderful and addictive novel that is a lot of fun to read.
Prisoner by S. R. White

Prisoner is a fantastic and compelling murder mystery that has a clever and moving central storyline. Serving as a sequel to White’s debut, Hermit, it features a dark and twisty case that has a unique solution and some intense suspects. An amazing crime novel.
