Chin Chin, Hawker Hall to deliver to Canberra for footy finals

Fancy getting in on the AFL grand final action, but canโ€™t stomach the idea of a sausage roll? Looking for something a little more refined to watch the game under lights at the Gabba?

We donโ€™t blame you, and now you donโ€™t have to worry, with the news that iconic Aussie restaurants Chin Chin (Melbourne, Sydney) and Hawker Hall (Melbourne) will be delivering to Canberrans for one day only next weekend for the AFL grand final.

On Saturday 24 October, Canberrans will be able to dine in on โ€˜cook-at-homeโ€™ packs for two from one of the iconic venues, which come with the cooking instructions as well as a beer each (it is a grand final day, after all).

A pack from Chin Chin will see you chow down on soy spiced and roasted beer nuts to start, followed by pork and chive dumplings, beef mardtabak spring rolls, roasted chicken wings, butter chicken pies, chargrilled brisket sliders, and crab fried rice, with the option to add on beef short rib or barbecue king salmon.

On the other hand, the Hawker Hall-at-home menu includes popcorn chicken, butter chicken curry puffs, pork and chive wontons, pork char sui steam buns, fried rice, and beef and black bean, with the option to order a full or half-duck for some cheeky duck pancakes.

A twist on a footy classic: butter chicken pies from Chin Chin.

Deliveries can be made to all Canberra postcodes for a flat rate of $22, as well as some suburbs in the surrounding regions of NSW including Queanbeyan and Jerrabomberra and as far as Bungendore.

Pre-order from Chin Chin here, and Hawker Hall here before Wednesday 20 October for delivery on grand final day (Saturday 24 October). Score!
